Nancy E. Levinger Undergraduate Research Fellowship

Description:

Alumnus Kyle Kung (BS 1996) established this scholarship in honor of his professor and mentor, Ms. Nancy E. Levinger, Ph.D.

Criteria:

1) Full or part-time undergraduate student enrolled at Colorado State University 2) Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.3 at the time the fellowship is awarded 3) Statement of research plans and a letter of support from a faculty member agreeing to act as a research mentor required 4) Preference shall be given to students majoring in Chemistry and pursuing research with a chemistry faculty member 5) Preference to continuing students and not those who are graduating 6) Secondary preference is for CSU students from other majors or colleges working in the laboratory under the direction of a chemistry faculty member OR a chemistry major pursuing research with an individual who is not a member of the Chemistry department (Fellowship may be renewed if the student reapplies, continues to meet all criteria and is selected again by the selection committee) Additional information: 1) In accepting the fellowship, the student agrees to complete the research project proposed in the application. 2) Students shall be selected based on the overall merit of their application, accomplishments, and intended research.
