Denise Rutherford and Maurice Kuypers Undergraduate Scholarship in Chemistry
Description:
This scholarship was established by CSU alumna Denise Rutherford and her husband Maurice Kuypers. Denise is a first generation Chemistry Ph.D. who gained a strong education and the foundation for life-long learning at CSU. Similarly, this scholarship supports first generation students majoring in Chemistry.
Criteria:
1) Full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the Chemistry Department within the College of Natural Sciences 2) Be a first generation college student 3) Maintain an overall 3.0 GPA 4) Preference shall be given to students who are engaged with the Women in Natural Sciences (WINS) program (Scholarship may be renewable if the recipient reapplies, continues to meet all criteria and is selected by the scholarship committee)
