Valerie and David Myers Mathematics Education Scholarship
Description:
CSU alumni, Valerie and David Myers, established this fund in recognition of the critical role education has played in their lives. This scholarship supports junior or senior Mathematics majors who intend to enter the teaching profession.
Criteria:
1) Full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Mathematics Education within the College of Natural Sciences 2) Have attained a grade level status of junior or senior 3) Have graduated from a Colorado High School 4) Maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA 5) Strong preference given to candidate(s) who exhibit qualities that indicate "future promise" as mathematics teachers 6) Preference shall also be given to students who demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Financial Aid of CSU (Scholarship may be renewable if the recipient continues to meet all criteria, reapplies annually and is selected by the scholarship committee)
