Teresa Fonseca Memorial Award
Description:
This scholarship was established by family, friends, and colleagues of Teresa Fonseca who was a post doctoral research associate in the chemistry department at CSU. Her main study was in theoretical chemistry.
Criteria:
Awardees are selected by the chemistry faculty for excellence in research. The prize shall be given to an outstanding specific piece of research work in which the recipient has played a significant and creative role. The specific research work will typically be the subject of a research article accepted for publication in an appropriate scientific journal. In the case of comparable achievement preference shall be given to research work in theoretical chemistry in the selection for the prize.
