Will Szlemko Memorial Fellowship

Description:

Through a generous donation from Dr. Paul Bell and his wife, Patti, the Will Szlemko Memorial Fellowship was established. The award honors the memory of Will Szlemko, who received his Ph.D. in applied social psychology from Colorado State in 2008, under the mentoring of Professor Paul Bell. His life ended in a tragic lightning strike in the Sherwood Forest area of the CSU campus on July 24, 2008, two days after he had successfully defended his dissertation.

Criteria:

1) Applied Social and Health Psychology graduate student 2) Maintain an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher 3) Aspire for a career that includes teaching 4) Demonstrate progression toward completion of PhD within 5 yrs of initial enrollment in the Applied Social and Health Psychology program
