Michael S. and Kathleen A. Swanson Scholarship
Description:
Established by alumnus Dr. Mike Swanson and his wife Kathy to benefit chemistry majors and/or students with an interest in pursuing a career in medicine.
Criteria:
1) Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program in the College of Natural Sciences 2) Chemistry major and/or a student with an interest in medicine and in pursuit of a Medical Doctoral (M.D.) degree 3) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 4) Maintain an overall 3.5 GPA 5) Preference shall be given to citizens of the United States and legal residents (Scholarship(s) may be renewable, if the recipient(s) continue to meet all of the criteria and reapply each year)
