Jerry L. Deffenbacher Scholarship in Psychology

Description:

This scholarship honors Professor Emeritus, Jerry Deffenbacher, and his 35 years of service at CSU. During his time on campus, he received numerous awards and recognitions including College of Natural Sciences professor laureate. In is career, he advised over 30 doctoral students and an equal number of undergraduate theses.

Criteria:

1) Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in the Psychology Department in the College of Natural Sciences 2) Sophomore, junior or senior majoring in Psychology 3) Be an honors track I or track II student or of a similar distinction if the honors track program Is discontinued 4) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 5) Maintain an overall 3.5 GPA 6) Preference shall be given to first generation students and to citizens of the United States or legal residents (Scholarship(s) may be renewable, if the recipient(s) continue to meet all the criteria and reapply annually)
